Domaine des Faures is also available as an exclusive self catering rental. Sleeping 8/9 ( + 2 cots and 2 high chairs)it is an excellent choice for a holiday for an extended family or two families. In addition to the rooms as mentioned on the bed and breakfast page the manor has comfortable reception rooms and a well equiped kitchen with a dual fuel range cooker.

 

 

 

The accommodation offers:- hallway, downstairs cloakroom, drawing room, lounge, dining room, kitchen, utility room, 4 en suite bedrooms, heated swimming pool, BBQ, gardens.

 

 

 

 

The drawing room is double aspect with 2 french windows opening onto the garden.Cool breezes flow through the room creating a comfortable retreat in the summer. As the house has been designed for use all year,there is also an open fireplace,which, along with the geothermal heating makes for very pleasant living in the late Autumn/Winter. The house is beautifully decorated at Christmas/New Year and makes for a wonderful festive retreat.

 

 

 

The drawing room

 

 

There is a lounge, with a desk for writing those important postcards, a chess table for those who enjoy exercising the mind and comfy seats for a quiet read.

 

 

The sitting room

 

 

 

The dining room also has 2 french doors opening onto the gardens, again with an open fire for leisurely evening meals. Catering can be arranged for those who would rather not cook for themselves.

 

 

 

The kitchen is well equiped for those who like to cook with a range cooker and an American style fridge/freezer. There is also a dishwasher. This room leads into the utility room where there is a washing machine (and tumble dryer for winter use only).

The pool lies within its own garden and is of a generous size ( 12m x 4 m + roman steps 2m x 2m) with a depth of between 1.3 - 1.5m. It is fenced with wire and hedging and has a lockable gate.The pool can be heated (between mid-June/mid-September to approximately 24 degrees, weather permitting) with the geothermal system installed should clients prefer to be assured of warmer water.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Clients with young children are respectfully reminded that swimming pools can be dangerous and care needs to be taken.

 

 

 

The garden has a covered eating area and several sitting places for enjoying a drink, a quiet read, or just relaxing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The rental during the summer includes electricity, water, bed linen, household linen, bathroom and swimming towels, heating the pool between mid-June to mid-September to approximately 24 degrees (weather permitting) and local tourist tax. Access to the internet is available.

 

The rental during October - June includes water, bed linen, household linen, bathroom towels and local tourist tax.There is a charge for electricity & heating the house at cost. Access to the internet is available.

 

Cleaning can be provided if required (20 euros per hour)

A chef can be provided at a cost of 30€ per hour (food not included)
