Elderflower cordial

Yesterday was spent picking, preparing and making elderflower cordial for the summer. The blossom is fantastic this year and we thoroughly enjoyed the glass of cordial watching the sun set.

The elder flower nearest to the barn above is very heavily laden. Hopefully some excellent elderberries in the making.
