From the top field at Les Faures you can view the nearby Chateau Biron. We understand that Domaine des Faures was once linked to the chateau and was the residence of the estate manager. It really is a fascinating place to visit as confirmed by our present guests.

The roses have been absolutely wonderful this year with the scent wafting around.Now that the very warm weather has arrived no doubt there will be a lull before they return in September.

It’s been a while since I last wrote something but that is due to working really hard in the garden and thoroughly enjoying myself. The bay has been clipped and the laburnum trees that we discovered hidden in the middle of the bay have flowered increasingly well each year.
