Our figs are ripe

I love this time when we can harvest fruit from the garden. The fig tree we planted has been laden despite the late frost we had earlier in the year and so we are enjoying warmed figs, walnut and cheese with salad. You can use brie, camembert or coulommier. All are delicious.

Our present guests visited the new Lascaux cave exhibition earlier this week and confirmed the opinion that it was an absolutely fantastic day out. The quality of the display made for a very interesting experience.
